We choose to work with a co-op farm in India where each farmer is entrusted with Rudolph Steiner’s method of soil regeneration. This changes dead soils that have been polluted into abundantly active soils, with a beautiful structure, producing healthy cotton. This is known as biodynamic farming.

Is about being traceable in every step in the production of our cotton. From the cleaning, spinning, knitting to dying and printing. Toxic chemicals are not used in any part of the garment, as we have worked within the IMO certification guidelines. This ensures the well being of your baby. The final product we call premium organic cotton.
We have a great working relationship with the one manufacturer who is committed to creating a positive working environment. Staff are treated with respect and paid fairly for the efforts. A profit percentage goes towards their education and welfare, as they are very much apart of creating the great baby wear story of...our-new-earth

Our aim is to give back consistently to the earth that sustains us and to you. Toria and I just came back from a fantastic buying trip to San Francisco. Our L.A. Reps were kind enough to host a show in SF which we loved! It gets really tiring traveling up and down the state to find the perfect merchandise for Koukla Kids. It is also hard to belive that we are buying for next Fall when we have not even recieved all of our Spring shipments.

Spring is still rolling in. We have some new adorable plush animals from Jelly Cat: monkeys, dogs, elephants and more. You know these... the super soft and very cuddly stuffed animals? Make sure to come and grab these before they're gone!

Welcome to Koukla Kids Blog!

We are finally getting up-to-date on all that the web can offer us (or at least getting started). Toria and I (Kathryn), the two owners of Koukla Kids want to start off this blog by thanking the many people who support us and appreciate our interest in creating a true neighborhood boutique. We are approaching our two year anniversary and know that we are standing strong because of YOU. It makes us smile thinking of our customers who we've built a relationship with; we know your likes/dislikes, your children by name and know we've established friendships with many of you. We are so excited to enter 2009 with renewed energy and vision for where Koukla Kids is heading.
